From Coonabarabran, follow John Renshaw Parkway and the visitor-centre turnoff, then continue to the campground. Access is on sealed roads suitable for 2WD vehicles. Accessibility: Blackman 2 has an accessible parking space and a concrete path to accessible amenities. Grass surfaces remain between many sites and facilities.
