Choose a listing, dates and party details, review the price, site rules and cancellation policy, then complete payment through the online checkout. A booking is confirmed only when the platform shows confirmation.
Online card payments are processed through Stripe. NextCamp collects the amount as the Host’s limited payment collection agent. Do not send payment to a host outside NextCamp for a stay found on the platform.
Your checkout quote shows the accommodation amount, any applicable fees and the total before payment. Review that quote rather than relying on a general fee estimate, because the booking details determine the final amount.
The policy shown before payment is locked to your booking. Flexible: Full refund if cancelled 3 or more days before check-in; No refund if cancelled within 3 days of check-in; Plus: full refund within 24h of booking if check-in is 7+ days away. Moderate: Full refund if cancelled 7 or more days before check-in; 50% accommodation refund if cancelled 3–6 days before check-in (service fee non-refundable); No refund if cancelled within 3 days of check-in; Plus: full refund within 24h of booking if check-in is 7+ days away. Strict: 50% accommodation refund if cancelled 14 or more days before check-in (service fee non-refundable); No refund if cancelled within 14 days of check-in; Plus: full refund within 24h of booking if check-in is 7+ days away (grace period). Timing is measured against the listing’s local check-in time.
Yes. Under every policy, you receive a full refund including the service fee if you cancel within 24 hours of confirmation and check-in is at least 7 days away.
Date and party changes are not currently supported. Cancel and make a new booking instead; the cancellation policy attached to the original booking determines any refund. Guests who booked without an account must email support from the booking email address.
If a host cancels a confirmed booking, you receive a full refund of everything paid. NextCamp may help identify alternatives, but does not promise a booking credit or cash-equivalent benefit.
Amenities are listing-specific and supplied by the host, not by NextCamp. Check the listing carefully for Wi-Fi or mobile signal, toilets, water, power, parking and other facilities, and message the host before booking if anything essential is unclear.
Access conditions vary by property. Review the host-provided access, terrain and vehicle information on the listing, then message the host about your specific needs before booking. NextCamp does not physically inspect or certify accessibility.
Each listing sets its ordinary pet policy and any pet fee. Assistance animals are handled separately through NextCamp’s disclosure flow and are not counted as ordinary pets. Complete the relevant disclosure and review any host-provided information before arrival.
NextCamp sends the host-provided arrival details in advance, generally 48–72 hours before check-in when the booking timing allows. You can also use booking messages to contact the host. If details are missing close to arrival, contact the host and NextCamp support.
Follow the quiet hours and site rules set by the host. If the host does not specify quiet hours, the standard NextCamp quiet hours are 10pm to 7am.
No. Hosts are responsible for legal compliance, safety and accurate disclosures. NextCamp reviews required listing information and platform requirements before publication, but that is not a physical inspection, legal approval or safety certification.
Check the relevant state or territory fire authority before travel and obey current bans, warnings and evacuation directions. In an immediate emergency in Australia, call 000 first. Then contact the host and report the issue to NextCamp when safe.
Host Terms require surveillance devices to be disclosed and prohibit them in bathrooms, sleeping areas and other private areas. If the arrangements are unclear, ask the host before booking. Report an undisclosed or inappropriate device to NextCamp.
A guest can leave one review after a completed booking. A review can be edited or deleted within 48 hours of posting, unless the host has already responded. Reviews must be accurate and follow the platform rules.
For a non-emergency, contact the host first where practical and report a materially inaccurate, unsafe, unavailable or missing advertised feature to NextCamp within 72 hours of discovering it. Keep photos, messages and other relevant evidence. Emergencies go to 000 first.
These answers are a practical guide. The policy shown on your booking and the applicable Platform Documents govern if there is any difference.
