A shaded, well-equipped campground beside the Carnarvon Gorge visitor area, open during selected school holidays.
Carnarvon Gorge Camping Area has 35 numbered grass sites beneath gums and fan palms near the visitor centre and walking tracks. It opens for camping only during the Easter, winter and spring Queensland school holidays, and is not suitable for caravans or large motorhomes. Check dates, site dimensions and availability on the official Queensland Parks website before travel.

Getting there
