Getting there

Freshwater campground is in the Bombah Broadwater area of Myall Lakes National Park. The campground is only accessible by boat or walking for 2km. To get there from Bulahdelah: Turn south onto Bombah Road and continue for around 12km. After the park entrance sign, turn left onto Korsmans Landing Road and follow it to Korsmans Landing campground and picnic area. From the boat ramp at Korsmans Landing campground and picnic area, launch your boat or canoe and it’s a short 5min boat ride south to Freshwater campground. Another boat ramp is available at Mungo Brush campground but Korsmans Landing is the closest. If you’re walking to the campground, you can park at Taits Trail gate on Mungo Brush Road, near Bombah Point Ferry. It’s a 30-45min walk from there to the campground along a flat, easy track.
