A horse-friendly alpine camp on the National trail near Geehi and Alpine Way.
Geehi horse camp is designed for riders travelling the Tom Groggin–Geehi stretch of the National trail in Kosciuszko National Park. Set below the mountains near Alpine Way, it offers room to stop and care for horses.
Horse water, paddocks and parking for floats and trucks support a riding trip, while fire rings and a picnic table provide a simple camp base. Check the current horse-camping and access rules before arriving.

Getting there
Located just off Alpine Way, nestled below the mountains, you’ll find water for horses, paddocks, plus parking for horse floats and trucks. Barbecue a tasty meal on the fire rings, and relax at the picnic table as the sun sets on the high peaks of the Main Range. You’ll need to bring your own firewood to use the fire rings.
