Ghost Gully sits quietly off Long Plain Road in northern Kosciuszko. It is a practical base for riding and exploring when the seasonal access roads are open.
The small site sits in a sheltered valley where two creeks meet, among black sallee trees. It has room for portable horse yards, making it a practical starting point for a riding trip on the northern high plains.

Getting there
Ghost Gully campground is in the Long Plain precinct of Kosciuszko National Park. To get there: From Tumut Visitor Centre: Drive along Snowy Mountains Highway for 72.8km. Turn left on to Long Plain Road. Turn right on to Port Phillip Trail and continue for 4.5km to the campground. From Adaminaby: Drive along Snowy Mountains Highway for 56.2km. Turn right on to Long Plain Road. Turn right on to Port Phillip Trail and continue for 4.5km to the campground. Road access: Unsealed roads; 2WD vehicles; 4WD required in wet weather.
