Hurleys camp is a small hideaway below Belougery Spire, a short detour from the Breadknife and Grand High Tops walking route. The approach from Pincham carpark is about 5km on foot, followed by the turn from the main trail.
It is a useful overnight base for walkers and climbers drawn to the surrounding cliffs and lookouts. Keep the camp simple, carry what you need and check the current track advice before setting out.

Getting there
Hurleys camp is in the southern area of Warrumbungle National Park. To get there from Coonabarabran: Follow John Renshaw Parkway into Warrumbungle National Park Turn left into Pincham Road approximately 100m past the visitor centre turnoff Leave the car at Pincham carpark and follow Breadknife and Grand High Tops walk for about 4.5km Turn left on Hurleys trail and follow it 600m to the end to reach Hurleys camp. Road quality: Sealed roads Vehicle access: 2WD vehicles Weather restrictions: All weather Parking: Parking is available at Pincham carpark.
