Jacobs River – Tongaroo sits among gum trees close to the water. Take time for birdwatching, fishing or a swim when the river is safe.
Although close to Jindabyne and Barry Way, the riverbank site feels removed from town. Gum trees frame the water, with swimming, fishing and nearby walking or riding options when conditions allow.

Getting there
Jacobs River campground is in the southern (Lower Snowy) precinct of Kosciuszko National Park. To get there from Snowy Region Visitor Centre: Drive 1.5km along Kosciuszko Road. Turn left onto Barry Way and drive 51.7km south. Turn left at Jacob’s River campground access track. Road access: Unsealed roads; 2WD vehicles; 4WD required in wet weather.
