Joes Cove offers a true back-to-basics escape in Myall Lakes National Park. Paddle or walk in, then spend your time by the sheltered water and surrounding bush.
With just one campsite and no vehicle access, Joes Cove is best planned as a self-contained lakeside escape. Arrive by foot or boat and spend the day watching the water and wetland birds.

Getting there
Joes Cove campground is in the Two Mile Sands precinct of Myall Lakes National Park. The campground can only be accessed by boat or foot. To get there: From the Pacific Highway, take Bombah Point Road (unsealed) to the ferry crossing. Cross the water with Bombah Point ferry. Taits trail begins on the left a short way along Mungo Brush Road. From Hawks Nest: Follow Mungo Brush Road Drive (sealed) for approximately 40km. Taits trail begins on the right just before the Bombah Point ferry. The campground is approximately 800m along Taits trail. Boat access: Boat ramps are available throughout the park including Violet Hill campground, Korsmans Landing campground, Mungo Brush campground and Hearts Point picnic area. Road access: Unsealed roads; 2WD vehicles.

- Pets are not permitted; certified assistance animals are excepted.
