Long Point is a peaceful clearing among apple box and blackbutt trees in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. The setting feels removed from the busy routes while keeping the Macleay Gorge landscape close at hand.

Getting there
Long Point campground and picnic area is in the northern precinct of Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. To get there: Drive 32km east of Armidale on Waterfall Way Take the turn off to Hillgrove Head south from Hillgrove for 17km Road quality: Check the weather before you set out as the road to Long Point campground and picnic area can become boggy when it rains. Unsealed roads Vehicle access: 2WD vehicles Weather restrictions: All weather Parking: Parking is available at Long Point campground and picnic area.
