MIA 3 campgrounds comprise four riverbank areas in Murrumbidgee Valley National Park, around 15 minutes from Whitton. Birdlife and the Murrumbidgee River are the principal reasons to stay.

Getting there
All roads within Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area 3 (MIA 3) are unsealed. 4WD vehicles are recommended when wet. Campervans/RVs are permitted in this area, however not all campgrounds suit these types of vehicles. If you’re coming from Whitton: Travel 8.5km along Whitton Road on your way to Gogeldrie. Turn right off Whitton Road onto Gogeldrie Road. Follow Gogeldrie Road for about 6.5km. Turn right onto River Road. Follow the unsealed River Road for 3km. Turn left into the MIA 3 entrance. There are no rubbish collection points. Please take all rubbish when you leave.
Things to know
- Check booking requirements and current NPWS park alerts before travelling.
- Pets are not permitted; certified assistance animals are excepted.
- Campfires are permitted April to September, subject to current NPWS fire restrictions.
