Mount Werong puts you close to the wilder southern reaches of the Blue Mountains, where bush tracks and old mining sites reward a longer look. The campground works as a base for exploring by foot, mountain bike or 4WD.
Follow Ruby Creek walking track to see remnants of the area’s mining past, or venture further into the surrounding landscape. Allow time for the journey in and check the current park access advice before departure.
