Six red-gum camping areas beside the Wakool River in Murray Valley National Park.
Noorong-Wetuppa offers six camping areas along the Wakool River, framed by river red gums. The landscape is also connected to the history of families who once lived and worked around Gee Gee Bend.
Choose an available campground on arrival, settle by the water and watch for kingfishers between fishing sessions. Use the official map to understand which sites sit upstream and downstream of Gee Gee bridge.

Getting there
These campgrounds are generally not accessible in winter. All roads leading to the Noorong-Wetuppa area are unsealed. 4WD vehicles are recommended. Caravans are not recommended Vehicles must remain on identified formed roads. The Noorong-Wetuppa campgrounds are located 36km east of Swan Hill on Noorong Road or 55km north-west of Barham via Moulamein Road and Noorong Road.

- Pets are not permitted; certified assistance animals are excepted.
- Campfires are permitted April to September, subject to current NPWS fire restrictions.
