Getting there

Polblue campground and picnic area is in the Polblue precinct of Barrington Tops National Park. From Gloucester: Polblue campground and picnic area is a 70km drive from Gloucester. Take Thunderbolts Way from Gloucester for 8km, then continue straight on Scone Road, which later becomes Barrington Tops Forest Road. Polblue campground and picnic area is located 7km on the left after passing the Devils Hole campground and lookout. From Scone: Polblue campground and picnic area is a 75km drive from Scone. Take Gundy Road from Scone, which becomes Hunter Road after the village of Gundy. Continue past Moonan Flat for 1km, and then turn right onto Moonan Brook Road after the small bridge. Turn left onto Barrington Tops Forest Road after 3.5km, which leads to the historic ‘Dingo Gate’ at the entry to Stewarts Brook State Forest. Close the Dingo Gate behind you – it helps stop livestock entering the Barrington Tops state forests and National Park/State Conservation Area. Polblue campground and picnic area is located 7km on the right after the Dingo Gate. Road quality: Road quality can change quickly and the gravel surface can be affected by potholes and corrugations.
