The Pines puts the water close to camp on the edge of Bogong Peaks Wilderness. Spend the day on the reservoir or take a slower northern Kosciuszko break.
Blowering Reservoir is only a short distance from camp, so boats and paddle craft are central to the visit. The adjoining Bogong Peaks Wilderness gives the waterside setting a much wilder backdrop than an ordinary lake park.

Getting there
The Pines campground is in the northern precinct of Kosciuszko National Park. To get there, drive south of Tumut on Snowy Mountains Highway for approximately 21km. Road access: Sealed roads; 2WD vehicles.
