Wanda Wandong offers a roomy campground among eucalypts and wattles in the northern part of Goobang National Park. Its picnic area makes a natural place to gather after exploring the park.
Follow the short interpretive walk near the entrance, or travel further by foot, mountain bike or car. Birdwatching and the varied native vegetation give quieter days here plenty to discover.

Getting there
Wanda Wandong campground is in the Wanda Wandong sector of Goobang National Park. Take the northern entrance into the park off Gundong Road. On entering the park, veer to the right and after a short drive, you’ll arrive at the campground. Road quality: Unsealed roads Vehicle access: 2WD vehicles Weather restrictions: Dry weather only Parking: Parking is available in small gravel carparks around Wanda Wandong campground. You can also park directly at your campsite.
